"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition KAGOSHIMA" will be held in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture.

This event based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, the museum is an interactive digital art museum where both children and adults can enjoy the world of Ukiyo-e through six 3D video spaces, depicted as graphical digital art works using 3DCG animation and projection mapping.

Photography and video will be available throughout the venue, allowing visitors to dive into the fantastic world of Ukiyo-e and take photographs.

The first "Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition NAGOYA" was held at the Kanayama Minami Building Art Museum Building (former Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Nagoya) from July 8 (Sat) to August 28 (Mon), 2023, and attracted approximately 80,000 visitors during the exhibition period.
