"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TAIPEI" is now being held.

"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TAIPEI" is an immersive digital art museum where more than 300 works by globally renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada are recreated as graphical digital artworks using 3DCG animation and projection mapping, allowing both adults and children to enjoy the experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of ukiyo-e across seven three-dimensional visual spaces.

This exhibition has previously been held in Nagoya, Milan (Italy), Kagoshima, and Tokyo, attracting over 250,000 visitors.

In addition, "The Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition" received the Excellence Award in the Project Category of the "CJPF Award 2025," hosted by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (Secretariat: Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters, Cabinet Office of Japan).

Photography and video recording are permitted throughout the venue, allowing visitors to step into and capture the fantastical world of ukiyo-e.

[Overview]
Based on over 300 works by globally acclaimed ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, this immersive art museum offers graphic digital artworks using 3DCG animation and projection mapping. Across seven immersive video installations, visitors can fully experience the world of ukiyo-e.
In addition to digital works, the exhibition also features original ukiyo-e prints from the Edo period and high-quality reproductions. These displays include explanations of the history of ukiyo-e, Edo-period culture, and the lives of the artists.
