"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TOKYO" has opened in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo.

This event based on more than 300 works by world-famous Ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, the museum is an interactive digital art museum where both children and adults can enjoy the world of Ukiyo-e through nine 3D video spaces, depicted as graphical digital art works using 3DCG animation and projection mapping.

Photography and video will be available throughout the venue, allowing visitors to dive into the fantastic world of Ukiyo-e and take photographs.

"Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition TOKYO” will offer visitors a multifaceted experience of the fascinating culture of Edo (present-day Tokyo) through special spaces and presentations that will be on display for the first time. The exhibition not only delves deeply into the artistic value of Ukiyo-e, but also provides visitors with easy-to-understand explanations of Edo culture, including the lifestyle and pleasures of the time.

To date, the event has been held in Nagoya, Milan, Italy, and Kagoshima, and has been attended by more than 150,000 visitors.
