Early Bird tickets for the “Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition HIROSHIMA” will go on sale at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 16.

The Ukiyoe Immersive Art Exhibition is an immersive digital art museum that brings over 300 masterpieces by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists—including Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada—to life using cutting-edge 3DCG animation and projection mapping. Designed for visitors of all ages, the exhibition transforms classic ukiyo-e into dynamic, visually rich digital artworks, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a multi-dimensional world.

Photography and video recording are permitted throughout the venue, so you can step into and capture the fantastical world of ukiyo-e.

The exhibition has previously been held in Nagoya, Milan (Italy), Kagoshima, Tokyo, Taipei, Fukuoka, Kaohsiung, Osaka, and Paris(France) attracting more than 500,000 visitors to date.

Exhibition Details:
This immersive digital art museum features multiple three-dimensional visual spaces where visitors can experience the world of ukiyo-e like never before. In addition to digital installations created with 3DCG animation and projection mapping, the exhibition also includes original ukiyo-e prints from the Edo period and high-quality reproductions. Visitors can learn about the history of ukiyo-e, Edo-period culture, and the artists behind these iconic works.

The exhibition not only explores the artistic value of ukiyo-e in depth but also presents easy-to-understand insights into daily life and entertainment in the Edo period.
